brown rice can help reduce 24-h glucose

 Consuming brown rice instead of white rice can help in reducing 24-h glucose and fasting insulin responses among obese Indians. The study suggested consuming  brown rice instead of  white rice and curtailing the overall dietary GL may benefit the health. Faster the digestion of rice, it will lead to fast rise in blood sugar. Study reveals that consuming white rice is strongly related to type 2 diabetes in India. Brown rice contains more fibre and sugar will rise slowly after intake.
